The Space Workforce Institute (SWI) is dedicated to strengthening the global space workforce through collaboration between education, training, and industry.

In partnership with Nova Space Inc. and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), SWI proudly supports the new MBA with an Emphasis in Space-Cyber Enterprise Management, a program designed to prepare professionals for leadership roles in space operations, cybersecurity, and enterprise management.

Credentials and Certifications

The Space Workforce Institute is releasing a wide variety of certificate and certification programs to enable employers to develop their workforces, help training providers and institutions align with professional standards, and help people advance in their lives and careers from any point in their professional journeys.

Each credential is built by subject matter experts to align with workforce standards established by the space industry. Credential holders receive certificates and electronic badges to showcase their achievements.

The Space Workforce Institute is actively seeking partners, sponsors, and co-creators  to help develop and expand credential and certification programs that reflect the needs of the space industry.

Colleges, universities, employers, and workforce organizations are encouraged to collaborate with SWI to design and validate new credentials, integrate standards into existing curricula, or provide large-scale access to space training programs.
